Missouri caves are rich in biodiversity.  While the observations of cavers will never replace the work of a trained biologist, cavers can make valuable contributions to the documentation of cave life given the lack of available funding for professional cave biologists.  Our hope is to slowly add content to this page as a resource for cavers to use.

The MSS has a rather extensive database with over 45,000 faunal records.  You can help by downloading the Bio Inventory Form and filling it out to note any cave life observed on your cave trips and submitting it to the MSS.
