Meramec Valley Unnamed Cave #1

Given the sensitive nature of cave sites, we must often refrain from giving the names of caves and always refrain from sharing entrance locations, except for with active cooperators.  Nevertheless, in an effort to promote awareness and appreciation for the delicate Missouri underground we do wish to share what we find to be so special and sacred by publishing photos and other data where appropriate.  Below are photos of a large cave in the Meramec valley which cooperators of the MSS and Cave Research Foundation began mapping and doing detailed biological inventories of in 2017.
